When I went to Pecs, Hungary for my Fulbright grant I was given a tour of Pecs by a professor on the first day of my arrival. He said, "Always look into the courtyards." I've continued to follow that advice. Yesterday when walking back from St. Mary's Basilica I noticed this view:
I thought this was an amazing piece of art hidden in a back street without any sign whatsoever. Perhaps it was part of Soviet realism; if so, now it's a part of history that should be noted.
Today I found this on the back of building.
Now I'm wondering what else I may have missed, but glad to have found this much.
