I'm back in Pecs, Hungary. Noted below I explained I had received many communications about my flight from Warsaw to Budapest and indeed the flight left much earlier on Sunday than it did on Saturday. Kudos to LOT for notifying passengers of this schedule change. The trip all the way to Pecs was no adventure, and sometimes that's the best adventure. The flight was fine, and the shuttle driver was there to meet me. We zoomed down to Pecs in just a bit more than two hours. By 10 PM I had checked into the hotel and was on my way to McDonald's to get a sandwich.
Pecs is having a beautiful spring. The flower beds are glorious and many types of trees are also in bloom. Pictures later. Have a great Internet connection in my room.
