The weather continued to be rainy, so we volunteers were asked to arrange some type of evening event for the campers on Wednesday evening. One couple had brought a very portable Bingo set up. So that became our evening activity. This proved to be the first time many of the teen campers had ever played Bingo. It is a good teaching exercise for hearing numbers in English, and also it continues to remind the learners that the letter I is pronounced I not E.
One volunteer also did a craft activity with students who chose that option.
This activity continued until about 8:30 PM. When I came back up to my room I saw something quite unusual -- sun on Giewont!
It did prove to be a sign of a change in the weather. More about that later.
